Patch 25 — The Astral Lens Update Is Live
The Astral Lens has arrived in Shadow Eclipse, introducing a new way to shape the balance between light and shadow. This update focuses on expanding core systems, improving visuals, and refining gameplay as development continues.
New Features
• Added the Astral Lens device to the Home World • Light Run I is now available • Improved shadow visuals with interactive shadow grass • Added Merchant Rooms • New upgrades: Quickened Casting and Mana Aegis • Initial set of Steam Achievements • Improved UI theme
Gameplay Changes
• Multiplayer has been temporarily disabled to focus development on single-player • Special spells now have unique cast times • Time slows while casting Specials • Specials no longer charge the Special mana bar • Tome of Fissure now life drains only one target • Health and Mana drops become less likely as runs progress
Bug Fixes
• Fireball Comet Skull now correctly damages the player • Spell Mirage description corrected • Numerous additional fixes and improvements
