I'm excited to officially announce that Shades of Rayna 2 is currently in active development.
This sequel is being built from the ground up with a clear goal: delivering a more refined, polished, and focused ARPG experience while staying true to the core identity of the first game. Based on everything I learned from Shades of Rayna, I am reworking systems, improving presentation, and simplifying complexity without sacrificing depth.
Key Features
Developed with Unreal Engine 5
Significantly improved visuals compared to the first game
Higher-quality and more fluid animations
Core mechanics from Shades of Rayna redesigned and presented in a cleaner, more intuitive way
All classes from the first game will return
A brand-new Necromancer class will be added
No Early Access — the game will release as a complete experience
Sold at a fixed price
No DLCs planned at launch
No relic system
Each class will have 10 unique skills
Every skill includes both an active and a passive component
Players can equip:
1 active skill
4 passive skills
Each skill has its own dedicated skill tree
No portal-based activities
Maps will follow the same style as Shades of Rayna 1, with moderately expanded layouts

I’ll be sharing more details, visuals, and progress updates as development continues. Thank you for your continued support.
