The Nun Update - v0.4.5
This update adds a new ghost, new ghost abilities, gameplay balance changes, and a range of bug fixes and improvements.
New Content
Added new Ghost Model: The Nun
Added new Ghost Ability: Manifest
Lets the ghost temporarily take physical form
Can be used to scare investigators and drain sanity
Added new Ghost Ability: Screech
A powerful ghost scream that forces nearby investigators to drop their held equipment
Added as part of future balancing for upcoming defensive tools such as Smudge Sticks
Added a new temporary Main Menu scene
Improvements
Removed the Unity Splash Screen
Replaced the default Unity application icon with the new Severance icon
Added a sliding door to the Care Room ghost room in Hospital
Added Graphics Settings
Added Key Bindings
Balance Changes
Some map locations have been slightly reworked for the new looping mechanic
Certain loops are now designed to break line of sight and reduce ghost speed more reliably
Investigators can now sprint in all directions
Helps with looping without losing speed while looking back at the ghost
Ghost footsteps are now much louder
Makes it easier to detect faster movement speed
Reduced Ghost Sprint energy cost from 45 to 40
Reduced Ghost Scream energy cost from 30 to 25
Fixed Bugs
Fixed a bug where the Thermometer would show the last scanned reading from the previous game when picked up
Fixed a bug where items would sometimes not appear in-hand for other players
Fixed a bug where the selected ghost model could appear incorrectly
Fixed a bug that caused some players’ resolution to be set too low
