SENTIENT STEEL changes
A few months ago I decided to take a break from my new project, Morpho (working title), to return to SENTIENT STEEL with fresh eyes, over a year after release.
As a thank you to those who have played, and as a personal bookend on this project, I wanted to publish a comprehensive free update to address the shortcomings that I ran out of time to fix last year.
Over time, the scope of the update expanded, until I had eventually looked at almost every element of the game. Here's a list of the key improvements:
Significantly improved performance
Gameplay improvements and rebalancing
Overhauled visuals and interfaces
Fixed audio
120fps support
Improvements for Steam Deck
Numerous bug fixes
So, whether you're back to fight the infection all over again, or returning to finish it off, I hope you enjoy the updates in 1.1!
Lastly, if you're new to SENTIENT STEEL, please consider trying the free demo! It has been updated to Ver. 3, which includes all the improvements present in the main game.
Thank you for all of your kind support.
