Playtest is live!

The public playtest is now live. It is currently public and unlimited. My plan for the near future is to keep this playtest going for a while, as I update and fix the game.

What changed

1 fix0 additions1 change0 removals
  • Performance
fixedthe game has been verified to launch and play - you start in the main menu with a character being played in the background by the computer, when you start the game, you take over the controls - 3 bugs have been fixed already (only integrated AMD GPUs were affected)
changedKnown issues/limitations: - there is no character save implemented at the moment (and won't be for a while until there is enough game content to matter) - full screen toggle crashes the game on integrated AMD GPUs if the resolution isn't set to the maximum screen resolution - incorrect audio plays when the player loses the game (I've simply not yet implemented)

You can take a look at the current state of the game, which as follows:

  • the game has been verified to launch and play - you start in the main menu with a character being played in the background by the computer, when you start the game, you take over the controls - 3 bugs have been fixed already (only integrated AMD GPUs were affected)

Known issues/limitations: - there is no character save implemented at the moment (and won't be for a while until there is enough game content to matter) - full screen toggle crashes the game on integrated AMD GPUs if the resolution isn't set to the maximum screen resolution - incorrect audio plays when the player loses the game (I've simply not yet implemented)

P.S. Expect frequent updates to the playtest.
