We are excited to share a first look at the Quest Update, an update that will expand the narrative world of Seconda with three new side quests. We are actively working on the content and will announce a release date only when it is fully confirmed: we prefer to maintain full transparency and ensure a polished result.
In addition to the new quests, the update will include a series of hotfixes and improvements designed to optimize gameplay, balance, and the overall player experience.
New Quests – Overview • The Misfortune of a Merchant A request for help that hides more than it seems, with choices that influence the course of the mission and its outcomes.
Armed to the Teeth An unexpected encounter kicks off an action-oriented mission focused on gear management, with new combat dynamics.
The Story of a Mother A more intimate and personal quest, centered on family bonds and delicate decisions in a world where survival always comes at a price.
These missions expand Seconda’s narrative, introducing new situations, meaningful choices, and new exploration opportunities.
HOTFIXES & UPDATES 🎮 Controls Improvements Optimized a key control to ensure full compatibility with Windows.
🗣 Presentation & Pacing Tweaked the pacing of an introductory sequence to improve readability and impact.
🔫 Weapons & Resources Recalibrated the amount of resources obtainable during exploration.
Adjusted ammo management and vendor roles to make progression more balanced.
Updated prices and availability based on player interactions.
🛒 Rewards & Balancing Improved the structure of certain rewards to make risk proportional to reward.
🏥 Environmental Expansion Added a new optional area in one of the main game zones.
Introduced more varied environmental elements designed to gradually increase tension and difficulty.
📄 Collectibles Added a new type of collectible item tied to worldbuilding.
☢ Radiation System Risk zones have been made more natural and less predictable.
Reviewed the accumulation and treatment of radiation.
Introduced a specific method for full recovery.
🎼 Soundtrack New musical tracks dedicated to certain areas and events, for a more immersive atmosphere.
🛒 Economy & Merchants Reviewed a merchant’s availability based on player progression.
Improved the shop opening/closing system during certain story phases.
