Hi everyone! Thanks to your valuable feedback, we've made major improvements to address the issues that were preventing Sea Warden from delivering a smooth gameplay experience.

fixedThe map is no longer fixed. You'll now explore islands based on your in-game research progression while sailing the seas.
addedSalted food has been added, giving salt a valuable new use by allowing you to stay fed longer.
changedAo's navigation has been completely reworked. Playing the flute in a direction will make Ao continuously sail that way until it collides with an island or stopped by playing flute with RMB. Sailing with the waves increases Ao's speed, while sailing against them slows it down.
addedAdded a flag that shows the current wind direction.

Thanks to your valuable feedback, we've made major improvements to address the issues that were preventing Sea Warden from delivering a smooth gameplay experience. We're excited to announce that we've just released a major update to the demo!

Here's what's new:

  • The map is no longer fixed. You'll now explore islands based on your in-game research progression while sailing the seas.

  • Hunger and thirst now deplete more slowly.

  • Islands now contain more food, and food restores more hunger and thirst.

  • Salted food has been added, giving salt a valuable new use by allowing you to stay fed longer.

  • Ao's navigation has been completely reworked. Playing the flute in a direction will make Ao continuously sail that way until it collides with an island or stopped by playing flute with RMB. Sailing with the waves increases Ao's speed, while sailing against them slows it down.

  • Added a flag that shows the current wind direction.

  • Limestone can now be found underwater and is used to craft the Smelter and other structures.

  • Sun Parts have been removed. Instead, you'll craft a Compass, which can be unlocked through the Research Table to locate story islands.

  • Eagles will now attack structures built on Ao. Protect your buildings or build shelters to keep them safe. You can also repair damaged structures with a Hammer.

  • Building costs have been reduced, and resources such as planks, leaves, and other materials are now more abundant.

  • The buildable area on Ao has been reduced for now and will be expand through future progression.

  • Weapon damage and attack ranges have been rebalanced.

  • New creatures have been added: Bats and Chickens.

And that's not even everything, we've probably forgotten to mention a few changes!

Please note that save files from previous versions are not compatible with this update, so you'll need to start a new game.

We truly believe this new version of the Sea Warden Demo offers a much better experience, and we hope you'll enjoy exploring everything it has to offer.
