addedScrap Age Survivors - Patch 21.More Scrap! We have changed the xp drop system so that now every enemy has a 100% chance to drop some amount of scrap. The old system could be unintentionally punishing, where a stroke of unlucky random number generation could see multiple enemies in a row not dropping scrap. On harder maps/difficulties this could create an early game hurdle that became impossible to overcome. This fix eliminates this element of randomness from the game. You can now be assured that every enemy killed will provide scrap.
changedScrap Age Survivors - Patch 2Improved QBit earn Multiple changes and tweaks have been made to QBit earn rate throughout the game. This will massively increase the rate at which players earn QBits thereby improving their ability to purchase upgrades and unlock new playable characters. At times it could feel punishing to unlock characters because of how many QBit’s it cost, therefore reducing the number of QBit’s available to purchase upgrades, now with the increased drop rate of QBits this should make it easier to progress smoothly throughout the game.
changedScrap Age Survivors - Patch 2Random Bot Rescues Bots captured by the Dominant Hand will now have random opportunities to spawn on maps during a run. Upon rescuing them they will show their gratitude with a large reward of QBits upon destroying the cage that holds them hostage

After being detected by the scan these items will provide a waypoint marker pointing the player in the direction of these high value rewards. Players must be careful not to be too distracted by riches and neglect their farming.

  6. Cooldown visualizations Weapons and passives will now show their cooldown via an animated UI element on their icon in the inventory, this will make it easier to play with some of the longer cooldown items by giving players an idea when they’re going to trigger/fire again.

  7. Temporary Buff Improvements Temporary buffs such as Increased Speed will now spawn icons on the UI after being picked up with an animated element informing players how much longer the buff has left before expiring.

  8. Momentary Invincibility after Level-up We received several comments about sometimes being overwhelmed by enemies after exiting the level-up screen. To ease the transition from Level-up back to gameplay we now apply a momentary invincibility effect to the player to grant a grace period where the player can’t be hurt while they re-enter gameplay.

  9. New Settings Menu We have implemented a new settings menu that fully supports controller input and interaction. We will be submitting for partial controller support certification from steam after this release goes live.

  10. Viral Hit Fixes Viral Hit was applying the entirety of the damage it was going to cause over time on the first tick, then proceeding to continue ticking its normal damage. Making Viral Hit much stronger than it was intended to be.
