addedSponsors: You now have the option to go for sponsors that will give you more money when you are not a top team; these sponsors focus a lot more on races so it is up to you to decide whether or not the money is worth the risk of failing expectations.
addedDrivers: You can now make use of a counter-offer to keep a driver that is negotiating with other teams around. This is only available to you if the driver is not negotiating with a team from a more prestigious championship. A counter-offer currently consists of a signing bonus and a per-race bonus.
