Scaling Up changes
Howdy, Snanchers!!
How is everyone and their ranches? It has come, the time for the release of the 4th Ranch.
Patch Notes - v1.1
New Additions
Metallic Forest The 4th Ranch is now available to start a new Ranch. Players who have acquired the
Tuning Fork
will have the Metallic Forest Ranch already available on the Start Menu.
The new Ranch has a different aesthetic and a different approach to start. Basic materials are not present in the Ranch itself and need to be acquired through expedition only at the beginning. While the available advanced materials in the area take longer to collect, there is more space available since trees and rocks are more scarce in the starting Territory and its surroundings.
New type of fishing spots are present in this special ranch, with new fishes to add to the encyclopedia. And of course new insects to add to the collection.
The Metallic Forest has a new type of weather that requires a different approach from all the other ranches and its own unique building to address the weather.
Serpentarium Snake Costumes A new Snake, the Ruby Snake, has been added to the Forge that is capable of creating costumes for the Serpentarium Snakes. This snake is available on the Tier 2 of the Forge without needing a Research, allowing players to start making costumes to dress the snakes on their serpentariums. These costumes are only visuals and will not impact the snakes' abilities to auto-equip weather specific equipment.
Costumes are also a source of acquiring more Gold: they are easy to create and give more gold than their original materials.
QoL Updates
Added a button to show all the Snakes in the Ranch inside the Upkeep submenu, divided by their categories and buildings. This should allow players to keep better track of their Snakes and find them easily when needed.
Added a feedback when sending Snakes on Expeditions. The game will make an estimate if a Snake is strong enough for the expedition in question and caution the player on the action in case they are not. These estimates don't take in consideration chance-based passives (such as Critical Chance).
Fixes
Adjusting Snake Info menu to better update the Equipment when changing between Snakes with the Equipment Menu open;
Adjusted Snake Info expedition Menu so it won't remove the selected expedition when trying to change expeditions, easily triggered with fast speeds;
Other fixes.
Hope everyone has fun building their ranches!
