Save Mom changes
Mom is still alive!
It’s been a while since our last update, but don’t worry, Mom is still alive and in need of saving! And now, she’s in more danger than ever… because a new boss battle has arrived!
This update introduces a brand-new boss mechanic that ramps up the challenge in your journey to save Mom. The boss marks the final level of this region, but we’re not done polishing it yet, your feedback is vital! We’d love to hear your thoughts on the new area, the boss fight, and any suggestions you have to make it even better.
But that’s not all! We’ve also been hard at work on a new biome filled with fresh levels, visuals, enemies, and mechanics, all centered around the same beloved Mom. Oh, and we’ve started development on the fourth playable character too.
For now, here’s what’s new in this release:

- New MusicWe’ve added custom tracks to make the world more immersive, and the intensity now changes dynamically with the threat level!
New Sound Effects: From explosions to footsteps, the world of Save Mom feels more alive than ever.

Bank level objective in Level 06, “withdraw” Mom’s savings by destroying the bank!
Added rally Point system that waits for players to regroup before progressing.
Football Stadium environment, home of the Coach Boss.
HUD damage feedback and player hurt sounds for better combat awareness.
Custom VFX for all boss attacks.
Inside/Outside RV audio filter, sounds now feel different depending on where you are.
Objective-based obstacle system (gates that unlock after completing key goals).
New ECS AI Targeting system for smarter enemies and improved performance.
⚙️Changes
Dashing now makes you immune to oil and radiation pools.
Default FPS capped at 60 (for better stability).
Increased camera rotation speed.
Enemies can now target more than just the RV.
Re-added visual damage feedback.
Rush level now starts with enemies active.
Roads now react properly to footsteps.
Cacti no longer block bullets (take that, spiky boys).
Reduced scrap collection sound volume.
Tweaked carnival spawn points and difficulty.
Higher chance of finding scrap in storage containers.
Improved ECS-based AI targeting for smoother server performance.
Optimized baked lighting to reduce load times.
🔧 Fixes
Fixed camera shake looking weird.
Fixed blood flicker bug on clients.
Fixed bullet impact sounds not triggering.
Fixed missing footsteps on certain surfaces.
Fixed enemies stuck in patrol mode with nearby targets.
Fixed enemies not entering agro after spawning.
Fixed dirt road tiling issue.
Fixed obstacle colliders remaining after destruction.
Fixed Bongo projectile trails being destroyed too early.
Fixed RV looping in circles when reaching certain stop points.
We’ve packed in countless tweaks, balance updates, and fixes, and that’s just the start. There’s so much new content coming with the next biomes, and we can’t wait to show you.
