Today we're closing the first public playtest of Satellite Odyssey: Jupiter.
Thank you for your time, your feedback, your bug reports, your streams, your videos, and for simply giving our game a chance.
🚀 > 3,000 players joined us 📝 > 900 feedback forms were submitted 📺 Twitch streams and YouTube videos
It's difficult to put into words how much this means to us!
Steam post imageWe also learned a lot about the people who joined us on this journey...
The largest age groups among our players were:
47.6% — aged 25–34 26.2% — aged 35–44 19.2% — aged 18–24
And when we asked about favorite genres, the results were:
73.9% — Action games 68.1% — RPGs 65.8% — Adventure games 57.2% — Survival Horror
As for favorite games... well, the results were not exactly a surprise😄
Resident Evil — 236 mentions BioShock — 158 mentions We've carefully gone through your feedback and suggestions. Many of your comments have already helped us identify weaknesses, prioritize improvements, and better understand what players expect from the game.
And yes — we also read the jokes😄 Steam post image
Over the coming months, we'll be focusing on improving existing systems, addressing the most common concerns raised by players, and continuing development of the many features that are not yet present in the current build.
This first playtest was only a small glimpse of what we're building.
Our next playtest wave is planned for this fall.
By then, we aim to introduce the detective investigation mechanics, along with many of the other major gameplay systems that are currently missing.
We hope to see all of you again when the station reopens its doors.
Thank you for helping us shape the future of Satellite Odyssey: Jupiter.
🚀 See you on Europa this fall.
