After a number of massively successful playtests and a recently concluded server slam that saw hundreds of thousands of you descend upon the desert planet of Sophie, it’s with great pleasure that we welcome you all back for the release of the game into Early Access!

Here's what's changed since the Server Slams:

  • Various visual effects and graphical updates to enhance the game's performance and aesthetic appeal

  • Large artifacts now take more time to get activated (2 sec to activate -> 6 sec to activate

  • Long interaction tooltips will continue to display even when you turn the camera

  • Fixed the issue where all the compartments start occluding while moving the Character around the Door from the Entrance group

  • Fixed the issue where the player's context menu at the Crew widget UI does not close after the member leaves the expedition

  • Fixed the issue where the player can trigger the "warning: Too many Requests" message by rapidly clicking the Refuse all button

  • Fixed the issue where joining the party as a crew member while the Captain is rebuilding the Trampler may lead to a lobby desync

  • Fixed the issue where crew members' 'Ready' status remains green after the Captain changes the Trampler

  • Fixed enclosed cannon slot missing a few failure points

  • Fixed the issue where the character model would be in a T-Pose after being killed

  • Fixed the issue where the player's UI becomes unresponsive after re-entering the same server

  • Fixed the issue when a character could get stuck on top of the ladder

  • Fixed the issue when ghouls wouldn't have clothes

  • Fixed the issue when simultaneously accepting an invitation by 2 players would cause an unexpected behavior

  • Fixed the issue when it was possible to bypass autocannons' fire rate limitations by spamming RMB and LMB

  • Fixed the issue where Autocannon recoil was not applied in Outlaw Control Mode

As for the future of SAND, we’ll be spending the next few days collecting your feedback, suggestions, bug reports and feature requests to help us build out our roadmap.
