Sancticide changes
After months of development and valuable feedback from players and content creators, Sancticide is officially leaving Early Access. The full 1.0 version launches on March 11th at 18:00 CEST on Steam.
Throughout Early Access, we have:
reworked combat systems,
improved camera behavior and controller responsiveness,
refined core mechanics,
rebuilt progression and upgrade systems,
added new levels, enemies, and weapons,
implemented numerous quality-of-life improvements and fixes.
Much of this work was driven directly by feedback from players and content creators who took the time to share their thoughts and experiences with us. We are incredibly grateful for your support and patience during this journey.
Sancticide is an indie project developed by a small team, not a massive AAA studio. Our goal has always been to create a challenging, atmospheric game set in a distinctive universe and offer a strong gameplay experience at a fair price.
The 1.0 launch marks an important milestone for us, and we are excited to finally share the game's full version with all of you.
The full 1.0 build will be available and fully playable for everyone who purchased Early Access starting Friday, March 5th, ahead of the official launch.
Save disclaimer:
Due to the large number of functional changes introduced in the full release, previous save files will unfortunately not be compatible. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but this step helps us prevent potential bugs and ensure the most stable experience possible.
If you've been with us during Early Access - thank you. If you're joining us now - welcome to the Apocalypse!
The sins remain unpaid. Judgment begins March 11.
