Leaderboards Update

Hello from the ocean side 👋

At least you can say that you've tried... climbing our leaderboards!

🏅 New Leaderboards made their way in!

We decided to split the leaderboards into four categories.

We felt it wasn't very fair how some paddles could be used differently than others, so we thought it would be more fun to let you compete in your favorite category… or try to dominate them all 😎

So the leaderboards are now divided into:

• Normal Mode

• Lava Mode

• Double Paddle

• Double-Sided Paddle

The goal is to make things a bit fairer while also adding some extra replayability. We hope this change motivates you to climb the ranks 💪

Was splitting the leaderboards not enough? We’ve got you. We’re now introducing seasonal rankings!

The top players of each season will have their names permanently displayed at the end of the level ☁︎ We haven’t fully decided how this will look yet, so if you have ideas, come share them on our Discord!

One of our favorite ideas so far is Greek-style statues with engraved names, but we’re open to suggestions.

🚧 Some Route Modifications

What rhymes with leaderboard reset? Well… not modified shortcuts, but that’s what happened anyway.

With the introduction of seasons, we’ll occasionally adjust the levels. You managed to find a lot of clever shortcuts, but some of them were a little too efficient and broke the intended challenge. So we’ve tweaked a few routes to encourage more interesting paths.

And if some shortcuts are really missed, we might consider bringing them back in a future season reset 🙂
