SacriFire - Devlog #12 - " The Good, The Bad, and the... Diabolical"

Last update we spoke about Antioch’s human villains, but did you think we would stop there? Read on to discover a devilish detachment with deadly designs upon Ezekiel – and upon Antioch itself. (Mild Spoilers for SacriFire’s demonic enemies lie ahead)

Amaymon

The First Demon, and god of the heretics. Amaymon is the source of all evil, and a creature of blind rage, filled with an overwhelming hatred towards Sheol and humanity. Legend has it that Amaymon desired to open the hellgate and usher in the age of demons, however, before he could do so the god Sheol trapped Amaymon inside an artefact known as the malkora, preventing the spread of his wickedness. Of course, nowadays, few believe such tales...

Azura

A daughter of Amaymon, Azura is a powerful demoness whose subtle influence upon the mind might be enough to tempt even the most pious of Sheol’s followers over to the side of sin. As disturbing and violent as she is beautiful, it is unknown whether Azura’s personality traits – her narcissism, her flirtatiousness, her disgust toward the bulk of humanity – are genuinely felt, or affectations the entity took alongside her physical form. In fact, little is known about Azura at all. The only certainty is that she has one single, primary goal in life: to destroy Sheol, and all those who worship Him.

Zyr

Not all of Amaymon’s children are as subtle as Azura. It is said that Amaymon cursed the demon dragon Zyr with a fire upon his back which can never be extinguished, and it is the eternal burning that gives the beast its foul temper. True or not, Zyr has spent the last centuries stalking the land and savaging anyone unlucky enough to cross his path. What are the odds Ezekiel manages to stay out of his way for the whole of SacriFire? Not high.

Sheol Protect You
