Hi! It's been a month since Rusty Flesh launched, so it's probably time to reflect on it a little bit and update you all on the future of this game. But first, a huge THANK YOU to all of you who have played or shared Rusty Flesh, or been part of this journey in any other way! Even for such an under-the-radar project as this one, it's been amazing having a bunch of people supporting me along the way.

Let's talk about sales. To be honest, they haven't been too good. However, I knew this would happen, it was a very niche project, and my first commercial game as well, so being realistic, they have been within my expectations, even slightly better than expected for the first month. I don't think I'll see many more sales in a while, until the game takes part in some discount.

So, I'm actually satisfied. I have managed to commit to a long-term project that took me about 2 years in my spare time and to ship a game! And of course, I have learnt a lot about game development (first lesson: all I have learnt is but a fraction of all I still need to learn). Looking back, there are definitely some things I'd have done differently, but then I would have trapped myself in a neverending loop of improving old stuff and I'd have never finished the game!

Now, about the future, I'm working through a list of bugs that were found after launch, and will release an update soon. Unfortunately, I've had tons of work this month, so things are moving slowly.

I am also exploring the possibility of launching a physical edition for the Game Boy Color. This is still in a very early stage and I can't promise anything though, but I just wanted to mention it here anyway. I'll do my best to make it happen!

That's all for now! I'll be back soon with news.

Thank you!
