⚖️ The Huge Balance Rework: Part One

Based directly on community feedback, we have completely reworked all health, damage, and shield mechanics, along with their associated runes. This is just the beginning to ensure combat feels as tight and rewarding as possible.

  • Coming Soon (Part Two): Before the Next Fest, we will release the second half of this balance overhaul, which will include a functional rework for specific runes across all wizards. Stay tuned!

🔥 Fire Wizard Visuals Complete

  • Added all Fire Orbs to the Fire Wizard. No more placeholders, YAY!

🎵 Total Audio Overhaul

  • The Arena has never sounded better. We have implemented a complete music overhaul featuring brand-new soundtracks, fresh SFX, and smooth audio transitions to immerse you deeper into the game.

🎮 Controls & Hardware

  • Steam Deck Support: You can now take your rune sequencing on the go! The demo is now fully playable on the Steam Deck.

  • Controller SupportAdded fully functional controller support (currently optimized for Xbox controllers).

🌍 Massive Localization Update

  • Language OverhaulCompletely overhauled and improved translations for English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Turkish.
  • New Languages Added: Welcome to our German and Traditional Chinese speaking wizards!

  • Coming Before Next FestWe are working hard to bring Runeveil to even more players. Russian, French, Polish, Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish (LATAM) will be added before Next Fest begins!

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing font bugs related to Asian languages.

  • Resolved various bugs related to the tutorial for a smoother onboarding experience.
