Announcing Unformed by Blackfire Games

Greetings travelers! The day we've been waiting for to happen for the last 2 years has finally come. Unformed, the project we've been working on behind closed doors in Blackfire Games is ready to be announced to the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSoVpkP6cHY Unformed is a metroidvania set in a fantasy world inspired by Chinese folklore and Lovecraft’s stories, with challenging combat mechanics influenced by Souls series (Dark Souls, Bloodborne). Mystic intuition had drawn the heroine to the legendary land of immortality, yet upon arrival she finds out not being able to die is but an ancient curse. To survive in this world of madness and distortion, her only hope is to seek the truth of everlasting life from her own blood. Unformed is scheduled to be released on PC mid 2018, with console versions (PS4 / Xbox One) coming later. Read more about the game and a campaign on our Kickstarter page. Yes, unfortunately we have to rely on Kickstarter campaign to continue development; Runestone Keeper was able to feed and sustain the team only for so long.
