Runeroots TD changes
I just pushed a massive update to the demo to bring it closer to the current version of the game!
Here are a few of the key changes:
Overhauled UI - Every aspect of the UI has had a new coat of paint. You should find the UI to be easier to read, more reactive, more informative, and hopefully prettier.
Quality of Life Improvements - Various quality of life improvements such as:
Left Click to equip items (no more dragging)
Tooltips are hidden unless you hold a a button to display them.
You can now see which negative conditions are active for the run at the start of each fight
Additional Codex pages for more information about how mechanics work
NEW Collections system - Selecting a tower/perk/item for the first time will add them to your collection! View the full collection in town.
Additionally, I have been hard at work finishing up the game. I am hoping to still keep a Q2 release.
Some of the new features I have added since the demo are:
Upgraded perks - allowing you to find stronger versions of existing perks.
Corrupt perks - perks that completely change the behavior of a tower. As an example, maybe before it was a single target tower, but the perk converts it to an AOE tower at the cost of damage.
Additional content - I almost doubled the amount of relics, and also added some additional perks and items.
