Runeforged: Monolith changes
Well met, and welcome to Runeforged: Monolith!
Runeforged: Monolith is a deckbuilder and tower defense game where you must protect the sacred Monolith from an endless horde of enemies. Choose your class and use cards to construct towers, cast spells, or conjure big fireballs to destroy your foes! Your ultimate goal is to explore the map and enter... the Dungeon, the source of corruption.
When you embark on this quest to defend the Monolith, you will be brought to a randomly generated map every time. Not only will the map be random, but the enemies you face will be as well! They will never stop attacking and there is no "ending wave."
There are two ways out, either you defeat the mighty End Boss, or you meet your ultimate demise. Are you up for the challenge?
Choosing your Class
Each class has over 40+ unique cards you may possibly find while playing.
Wizard Class: Expert on spells, conjurations like fireballs, and drawing tons of cards.
Ranger Class: Expert on using cards efficiently. Likes to discard cards from their hand, but many Ranger cards want to be discarded.
Warrior Class: Expert on controlling the field using Units to hold the line against the corrupted forces.
Deckbuilding
Use Cards to do just about everything from placing Towers to casting spells
After each wave you open a Chest that contains random cards that you may choose to keep, ensuring every run is different.
Enter the Shop every 5 waves to purchase cards using gold!
Towers
Over 50+ Towers to build. A mixture of utility and attack towers.
All Towers have their own upgrade tree. Attack Towers can level up for free when enemies are slain nearby or use gold to upgrade them yourself!
Some towers need to be surrounded by other towers. Strategic placement is important.
You can try out the Wizard class by downloading the demo today. Go check it out!
