changedPlay in your languageRuneClick is now fully translated into Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Pick your language in Settings and the whole game switches over live, no restart needed. Every skill, item, enemy, menu, and tooltip reads in your language.
addedCosmetic tool finishesA new way to spend your hard-earned gold at the top of the game. Unlock the Gilded and Void finishes in the shop and apply them to your axe, pickaxe, and fishing rod. They carry no stats and change nothing about how you gather. They are pure prestige, a way to make your tools look like yours.
changedNew pets and rare findsWoodcutting, Mining, and Fishing each have their own mega-rare pet to chase now: the Beaver, the Rock Golem, and the Baby Kraken. Woodcutting can also turn up a Bird's Nest, which you open at the bank for seeds or a piece of jewelry, and if you are absurdly lucky an onyx bracelet. And out on the water there is Old Mossback, a once-in-a-lifetime trophy catch worth a small fortune.
addedRunecraft goes deeperThree new runes, Death, Blood, and Soul, extend Runecraft well into the late game, along with new high-level spells and a passive that rewards heavy casting. The climb to the top of the spellbook is no longer capped at nature runes. Steam post image
changedBring the right style to the fightThe combat triangle now keys off the armor your foe wears. Plated melee enemies shrug off blades and arrows but fold to magic. Robed casters are soft to melee and ranged. Hide-clad archers resist magic. Every monster's page in the in-game guide now spells out what it is weak to.
changedCombat pays offMonster drop tables got a heavy pass, so fighting is now a real way to earn resources, gold, and mid-tier gear without grinding the matching skill. If you have been fighting since launch, the first time you log in you get a one-time grant of the drops you would have earned across your past kills. Combat XP rates were also rebalanced to sit alongside the rest of the game.

Bring the right style to the fight
The combat triangle now keys off the armor your foe wears. Plated melee enemies shrug off blades and arrows but fold to magic. Robed casters are soft to melee and ranged. Hide-clad archers resist magic. Every monster's page in the in-game guide now spells out what it is weak to.
Combat pays off
Monster drop tables got a heavy pass, so fighting is now a real way to earn resources, gold, and mid-tier gear without grinding the matching skill. If you have been fighting since launch, the first time you log in you get a one-time grant of the drops you would have earned across your past kills. Combat XP rates were also rebalanced to sit alongside the rest of the game.
Start fresh
If your leaderboard standing got locked because you edited your save or ran a mod that changes progression, you can now wipe your account back to a clean slate from Settings and do an honest run from scratch.
The rest
Ten new achievements across the new pets, rare drops, and chase tools.
Rare items, talismans, jewelry, chase tools, and onyx, sell for considerably more.
The bank sells in larger batches.
Plus the usual round of balance and quality-of-life fixes.
