Run, Kitty! 4th Anniversary

Today is November 12, which means it’s time to celebrate the anniversary of our game "Run, Kitty!" — and this year, unbelievably, it’s already 4 years old! Time really flies. Way too fast! ⌛

We’re sorry for once again delaying the update you’ve been waiting for so patiently. Don’t worry — we haven’t disappeared, everything’s fine, it’s just that things are progressing much slower than expected.

But here’s some good news — we’ve completely finished 2 out of 3 new CGs for the update (CG07/CG08), and they turned out amazing. These two were quite challenging, as you can probably imagine what kind of scenes they are — with lots of variations, poses, and “those particular” details ;) But trust us, it’ll all be worth it in the end. We’re planning to show you some sketches from behind the scenes soon, just so you won’t be left without any content at all — that wouldn’t be fair!

The third artwork from planned update (CG09) should be much easier to complete since it’s a standard type, similar to the nighttime scene from the main game (if you remember it). So the work should go faster this time! 🙏

After finishing the CGs, what’s left will be writing the new update’s text, placing the images in the game, then translating, editing, and testing everything. The translation part will probably take the most effort, but the text itself shouldn’t be very large, so it shouldn’t take too long overall.

We don’t want to promise any exact dates to avoid disappointing you (who knows what issues might pop up), but we can confidently say that the update will be released before the 5th anniversary! Maybe even earlier — but we won’t jinx it ❤️
