What changed

0 fixes0 additions3 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • UI and audio
changedFrom the beginning, the idea was to create an experience where gameplay, atmosphere, and storytelling all felt connected. The core mechanic revolves around shifting between past and present through the magenta pools, changing one reality to affect the other and slowly understanding how both worlds relate to each other.
changedAt the same time, we wanted the world itself to carry a lot of the experience. There’s very little direct explanation, because a big part of the journey comes from observing, experimenting, and paying attention to small details, whether through the environment, the sound design, or the way spaces are built.
changedIf that kind of experience sounds interesting to you, you can already play Rumbral on Steam.

Rumbral was never meant to be just a game about solving puzzles and moving forward.

From the beginning, the idea was to create an experience where gameplay, atmosphere, and storytelling all felt connected. The core mechanic revolves around shifting between past and present through the magenta pools, changing one reality to affect the other and slowly understanding how both worlds relate to each other.

At the same time, we wanted the world itself to carry a lot of the experience. There’s very little direct explanation, because a big part of the journey comes from observing, experimenting, and paying attention to small details, whether through the environment, the sound design, or the way spaces are built.

Rumbral is also intentionally compact. Rather than stretching the experience unnecessarily, we focused on making every moment feel purposeful, atmospheric, and connected to the overall tone of the game.

If that kind of experience sounds interesting to you, you can already play Rumbral on Steam.
