Ruin changes
On July 4th at 6 PM AEST, we are running a new closed beta stress test for Ruin.
In the previous stress test, we focused on building, furniture, terraforming, land claiming, and server stability. This next test will use those same systems again, but this time combat will be enabled.
The goal is to test how the server handles players fighting around buildings, claims, terrain changes, and larger player groups.

Main test areas:
Combat performance with multiple players online
Fighting around player-built structures
Building, furniture, terraforming, and land claiming under combat conditions
Player movement, collision, hit detection, and desync during fights
Server max population, lag, disconnects, and stability
Dungeon group gameplay
Human vs Troll PvP
Guild vs Guild combat on the next continent
What players can do during the test:
Join the dungeon and try to complete it as a 5-man group
Fight Human vs Troll on the starter island
Catch the boat to the next continent and test Guild vs Guild combat
Build, claim land, place furniture, terraform, and fight around those areas
Report bugs, lag, crashes, combat issues, or anything that feels broken
If you have not joined yet, please download Ruin or sign up for the playtest before the event.
This is still a closed beta test, so bugs, restarts, missing polish, balance issues, and temporary problems are expected. The point of this test is to find issues before wider release.
