CHANGES

  • A few rooms in Split Hall and Giant Mine have received cosmetic improvements.

  • An impossible solution to an early Giant Mine room is now extra impossible to keep folks from wasting too much time trying to get it to work.

  • Warps now show their destination on the map when one character is standing on them. This uses unique colors and a unique sprite.

  • Helper text has been added to The Warps in The DimSim room in The Safe so folks can now see who lives where without having to use the Warps.

  • The current room on the map has a slightly brighter highlight.

  • The Editor now runs at 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS. This is the first step towards an overhaul of the Editor user experience.

Upcoming!

My main focus for the next big update is improving the Editor user interface and documentation. I plan to post a small level made from outtakes to the Workshop and I will be including the .rmx and .lox files for it with the update. This will be helpful to those who want to learn the Editor. Beyond that I will be revising and expanding The Safe. My goal is to make it simpler to navigate and for it to include a bit more about Planet Dirt and it's inhabitants. I would love to hear more about what features or types of content folks are interested in over on the forum and in the new Discord. Thanks for reading! Be sure to leave a review if you haven't, they help a lot! Yours truly, John of TheWzzard
