Welcome to the very first developer log for "MugenRPG"! Starting this week, I'll be sharing regular updates on the project's progress in these weekly reports.
This week marked a major milestone. After a long, caffeine-fueled overnight sprint, the project has made a huge leap from a "concept" to a "playable core." So, let's dive into the details of this update.
This Week's Core Progress
- Visual & UI OverhaulWe've implemented a brand-new, high-quality player character model and designed a unique "Terminal Log" style mission selection interface.
Core Gameplay Loop Activated: The first high-difficulty "Challenge Mission" is now live! Successfully completing it rewards you with rare resources to unlock powerful weapons, including the Gatling Gun. The full "Challenge-Reward-Enhance" loop is now complete!
Steam Integration: The game now fully supports Steam Cloud saves and Achievements. Your progress is safe and sound!
Next Week's Plan
Next week, our focus will shift to building out "Chapter 2," which will include new environments, enemies, and boss mechanics. Look forward to more details in the next devlog!
