[c]We’re aiming to release Royal’s Gambit on mobile before the end of the month![/c]

[c]At this point, we’re solely waiting to hear back from Google and Apple regarding approval. If there are any final issues to fix or changes to make, we’ll tackle those right away. But once we get the green light, the mobile version will be out in the wild.[/c]

[c]After the release, we’ll likely take a short break for the rest of the year to enjoy the holidays — and then dive headfirst into Patch 1.1 development in January.[/c]

[c]What's Coming in Patch 1.1?[/c]

[c]We’re excited to begin introducing seasonal content to Royal’s Gambit![/c]

[c]Now, some of you may have just sighed in frustration — but hold on — we’re doing it a little differently than most games. Our seasonal content won’t be time-limited or locked away once the season ends.[/c]

[c]Once a season is over, its content will remain in the game as a toggle option. [/c]

[c]If you really enjoyed the features from a past season, you’ll be able to keep playing with them. [/c]

[c]As new seasons are released, you’ll be able to mix and match your favorite seasonal mechanics.[/c]

[c]Season 1 Plans[/c]

[c]Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re planning for Season 1:[/c]

[c]• New Royal types to shake up your strategies and increase difficulty. These new enemies will include mechanics like:[/c]

• [c]Plagues that reduce point values [/c]

• [c]Damage-absorbing shields [/c]

• [c]Fire Royals that burn your cards [/c]

• [c]Lightning Royals that zap the board [/c]

• [c]...and more to come![/c]

[c]• In-Game Leaderboards [/c]

[c]Currently, leaderboards are only visible through the Steam client or the game’s Steam page. With Season 1, we’ll be introducing [/c] in-game leaderboard support [c] (likely limited to the Steam version for now), so you can see how your score stacks up against friends — and the world — without leaving the game.[/c]
