Rouge Tank has come a long way since it's conception. I created several iterations of the game while trying to figure exactly what I wanted the game to be.
Originally I made a level mode, with levels and teleporters. I wanted the game to have more, and on a rebuilt version of the engine I based the game off of the Atari game adventure. Well, after several playtesting from my close friends, and family, I came to the conclusion that the game needed. MORE. Rouge Tank has evolved from it's simple start of pixel art and basic shooter gameplay, to a full game.
Rouge Tank now has Three modes --------------------------------- One mode has a simple tutorial on how the puzzle system works, which aims to walk players through the basics of the game. The shield is unlockable by completing the tutorial.
Another mode is the Full puzzle, Warning, the puzzle is HARD, it is not intuitive and it will be frustrating. There are monsters to kill in this mode, and a boss where you could unlock the shield as well.
Funnily enough, the third mode is my personal favorite. It is an endless shooter. That's it, one map, 4 different enemies, and available upgrades after each round.
Added content -> January 4th HUGE graphical update, all assets were painstakingly refined. A lot of work has gone into this game. I work while going to College for Game Design, and a lot of my free time has gone into crafting this game From Scratch. I wrote and re-wrote this engine several times, using the SFML version 2.6 as my windows API. SFML handles all the assets loading, window/key management, and even the collision system using built in functions. I want to take this time to thank all the people that worked on SFML. Thank you.
Important DISCLAIMER->!!! Please Read Originally, I wanted to release this game for free. As time has gone on, the amount of work that has gone in, the time I spent, I do feel is valuable. I feel the price set is reasonable and fair. I believe this is a good game.
Road map-> Rouge Tank will continue to be updated as time goes on. Features will no longer be removed, but will be expanded upon. Here are some details->

The current puzzle level is rated HARD. College is 4 month increments, and when school ends for the semester i must maintain 40 hours a week at my job. Keep this in mind for relative Update patterns.
The current plan is to update the game moving on Once a month, including but not limited to bug fixes. Each Update will bring added content.
