It's been a while! That certainly wasn't the plan. The plan was to swiftly port Rotund Takeoff to Nintendo Switch and release soon after PC.

It's been a while! That certainly wasn't the plan. The plan was to swiftly port Rotund Takeoff to Nintendo Switch and release soon after PC. Early test builds looked encouraging, but then we got held up by some pesky technical difficulties that set us back by about two months. Ouch! Happy to report those issues are behind us now, and we've brought the PC up to date with Version 1.1, available right now! To celebrate, it's on sale for the weekend!

Changelog

Changes:

  • Replaced the Sleep Bears with new Marvin booths for clarity and consistency.

  • Lowered the required number of gold medals on the original Marvin booths to match those of the silver.

  • Moved the Sleep Bears to block the 8-Balls, and they won't move until that world is ranked silver or better.

  • Due to world map changes, your current position on the world map will be set back to 1-1 after updating.

  • Corrected World Summary display alignment.

  • Updated Unity from 2019.4.16 to 2019.4.24.

  • Updated Rewired from 1.1.38.0 to 1.1.39.1.

  • Updated TextMesh Pro from 2.0.1 to 2.1.4.

  • Various internal changes for Nintendo Switch support.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed controller rumbling when game launches.

  • Fixed incorrect Nintendo Switch controller glyphs.

  • Fixed title screen breaking from synchronized cancel/confirm inputs.

  • Fixed allowing button assignment while exiting controls menu.

  • Fixed potential pixel-perfect display issues (options, title screen, world map).

  • Fixed quirky Speedrun Clock refresh behavior when enabled mid-game.

  • Fixed the Speedrun Clock going behind certain bridges on the world map.

  • Fixed some visual issues while adding the new bear to the Sleep Bears island.

  • Fixed regular fade-in being visible on world map from opening.

  • Fixed super rare exception thrown by float zone animation.

  • Fixed crash when returning from a level in the event data can't be saved.
