Rose and Locket changes
The First Update is now live, featuring player-requested additions and enhanced gameplay!
We have been watching and listening to the community's feedback and have made the following fixes and general improvements to the Rose and Locket experience.
The Latest and Greatest!
Control Remapping - available for both Mouse and Keyboard and those using Controllers, you can now edit all the controls to suit your gameplay needs!
Final boss stages revamped with newer & cooler visuals on some previously generic hazards, and an upgraded system for seamlessly transitioning between art themes and platforms/hazards to better suit the Boss Theme.
Fixes and General Changes:
Rose has slightly increased health on all difficulties now
Controller vibration amount can be adjusted or turned off entirely
Significantly increased maneuverability while mounted
Most boss sections now scale attack frequency rather than health on Easy/Hard
Most bosses have been tweaked slightly to better match the selected difficulty
Weapon aim cursor should look better and be more visible at all times now
Invulnerability period during dash increased slightly - giving players that little bit of extra time
Ranged enemies no longer attack while outside of the currently visible area - no more getting sniped from offscreen!
Changes made to enemy spawns and platforming sections to address some levels that were more difficult than intended
Most instant-kill areas have been changed; these will now damage Rose and allow repositioning
Visual adjustments made on a specific boss phase to improve clarity
Exploding Pods now spawn enemies with a more predictable frequency which scales with difficulty
Resolved a case where controller aim assist worked incorrectly
Resolved a scene-specific movement bug
Resolved a case where players could jump over the exit and fall off-map
Improved recoil timing on a weapon
