Difficulty modes
In this update we are introducing difficulty modes. You can now choose between Normal and Easy. We're also preparing a hard mode for a future update for the few out there who found the game too easy.
You can change the difficulty of existing saves in the load menu.
We saw many players struggle with the game and wishing for a more relaxing journey, but we also encountered many players enjoying the current fine balance of the game, between frustration satisfaction from overcoming the challenges. Therefore we decided to add difficulty modes.
In Normal mode, you can experience the game as we intended. It is challenging and requires focus and communication with your co-pilot.
In Easy mode, we've made many small changes to the route with wider paths, less dangers and more checkpoints. The journey stays tricky and challenging as this is the essence of Rosalie! But it should be more accessible if you're looking for a more "relaxing" experience.

Footstep sounds for different surfaces (Dirt, Grass, Wood, etc...)

Added a notification when player joins the game
Added in-game invite notification prompt

Tweaks:
Accepting steam invite before launching the game will now properly join the game on startup
You can now close Camera mode with Escape
Improved build-site area with small scafoldings you can take on foot to get back up in case you fall, and adjusted kill zones for more consistency
