What changed
- Gameplay
The game is still under development, so all visible assets are not final. Hey everyone! I'm a solo indie developer based in Warsaw, Poland! I work a 9-5 job as a software developer and do gamedev as my passion in my spare time. Rootwarden is my first commercial project, following a series of smaller titles I've released on https://pavelee.itch.io to build up my gamedev skills.
I decided to move forward with my game idea "Rootwarden", as my first commercial project. My goal is to build good gameplay with Action-RTS where you craft your droids and drop them on the surface to gain minerals. The fun is based on crafting, dynamic fight with elements of strategy like building and possibility using of few droids at once (you can control directly only one) and progression. It will be game for just pure fast-paced gameplay and my goal is to make it as juicy as possible. I will explain more in future posts.
I plan to post devlog at least once a month but I will try to do this more frequently.
