Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game changes
IMPORTANT: You will need to update or remove all of your mods should you have any installed, otherwise the game will crash, more info listed below in the modding section! :)
New Map: Sunset Paradise
Added new ‘Sunset Paradise’ map Added 4 new time trials (Sunset Paradise)
New Mechanics & Movement Improvements:
Faster Speed Vaults (Finally) New pipe climbing & sliding mechanic Added pipes in ‘Steel Yard’ Added pipes in ‘School District’ New ‘Standing Backflip’ ability (You can perform a ‘Standing Backflip’ out of a precision prep) (LB + (X) or L1 + (Square) or ‘E’ + ‘F’ while standing still Slightly increased tolerance for falling and still being able to wall run Improved session marker system (Respawning is now a lot more reliable!) Improved jumping animations and transitions Added AirCam control for Keyboard & Mouse players (While holding the middle mouse button/wheel) Now saving overall FOV settings Some improvements in regards to 360 spin delays Added the ability to dive out of a wall-run Improved climbing detection Improved jump detection
New Customization:
Added a new shoe customization option Added a new lower-body customization option
Visual & SFX Improvements:
New and improved UI design & start menu New & Improved UI sounds Brand new tricking section in the UI which will show videos for each trick (This will make it easier for new players to learn what each trick does!) Improved spacial SFX in certain map areas Overall visual improvements on Steel Yard & School District Added new foliage (Vines & Ivy to School District & Steel Yard)
New Music:
Added a brand new original soundtrack to the in-game music playlist
Bug Fixes:
Fixed some force feedback bugs (Unwanted ongoing vibration during certain moves) Fixed some session marker bugs Fixed & improved some clipping & collision issues Fixed an irregular bug that caused unintentional/high tricks (Mostly happened randomly after cartwheels/handsprings) Fixed some vault tracing/detection problems Fixed some climbing bugs Fixed some wall-running bugs Fixed some animation bugs Fixed some swinging bugs
Important Notes for Multiplayer:
In order to play multiplayer you will need to be on this latest update, otherwise connecting to sessions will not work!
Important Notes for Modders & Mod Users:
In this update, the game has been migrated from Unreal Engine 5.2 to 5.4. This means that mods will be broken until repackaged again in UE 5.4. It is highly advised to remove all mods before launching this latest update to make sure the game is running smoothly and to avoid any unnecessary crashes until most mods have been updated! Make sure to join the official Discord server to get additional modding support, hang out with the community, play together, and have a good time!
