New Blocks

  • Reader & Punchcard

Program a timeline on a punchcard, then place it on a reader so it can play the punchcard program on a stack of togglers. The reader has a built in-roller to slide the punchcard away when the program is complete. If the punchcard can't slide away, the reader loops on the same program.

  • Percussor

Makes a musical tone when striking blocks. Weld blocks together to change the tone.

  • Photofoam

Decorative block that absorbs the color from beams. Can be extended to create a background layer for builds.

Block Changes

  • Residue can now be welded to slime

  • Sensor in Machining mode now detects when a beam core is powered

  • Ice needs to be touching the ground to slide

  • Creators are no longer inherent the properties of cores they are holding (they still need to move backwards to extrude a refined core)

Expanded Research Tree

  • New research for new blocks. Reader & Punchcard research is now a requirement for stacked fabrication

  • Stacked fabrication now gives bigger inventory passive

Interface

  • Blocks with catalyzable ranges will now have their ranges visualized while held in hand

  • New cheat command create_creator_pedestals that instantly places a tower of creators and pedestals to feed summonores with any block

  • Added experimental support for controller joysticks. Includes smooth player movement and snapping to grid in the world and in some menus. There is no official layout yet.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed motor not chancing direction when hand is flipped

  • Fixed some adjustable blocks not matching adjustment when using pipette

  • Yellow colorblind glass missing a few pixels

  • Players riding in chair is now tile-tick-thread authoritative

  • Changed beam chunk loading to reduce lag when rapidly turning long beams on and off

  • Fixed crash when a chest extruded into blue/green beam

  • When a large chest is unwelded while charged, the separated pieces now have their charge reset
