Update 1.1 "Retro Ridgeclimb" Live

Heya everyone,

Steam Spring Sale has just started, and with the start of the sale, I've also released the first major update to Ronny's Climb which you can play right now! Update 1.1 named "Retro Ridgeclimb" comes with a new secret stage complete with new achievements to unlock, as well as customizable keybindings, support for Steam Deck and other exciting changes. Find the full patch notes below.

As always, thanks a bunch for your support following the release of Ronny's Climb. It's been an exciting time. If you own a Steam Deck, I'd really appreciate if you could try and run the game on it and give me feedback in case something isn't working.

Unlocking "Retro Ridgeclimb"

Similar to "Balloon Bonanza", the new stage is a secret level as well and you'll need a code to unlock it first. Here are some hints for finding it:

Hint 1:

The code for "Retro Ridgeclimb" is hidden in stage 3.

Hint 2:

To find the code, you'll have to climb the very top of the desolate tower at the end of stage 3. You can reach the ledge with a dash or with help from the dragonflies.

Changelog:

• A new secret stage called "Retro Ridgeclimb" has been added to the game, including new Steam achievements for collecting all 100 gems, beating the timer and obtaining the two badges in the new stage

• Keybindings are now fully customizable both for keyboard and joypad

• "Balloon Bonanza" now has new visuals and its own new musical track

• Ronny's Climb is now available for Linux and a dedicated build for Steam Deck has been added as well

• Made various minor adaptations in some stages to make certain jumps less frustrating

• Fixed an issue where a block in "Balloon Bonanza" could be moved to a place where it would make accessing some gems impossible

• Fixed a typo in "Emerald Vale"
