Small Quality of Life update

Hello, dropping a small QoL update today. Here are the changes: Dropping pieces out of view now displays a "piece trail" in the border of the screen. Now the piece doesn't look like it disappeared into thin air. Neat.

Repeated intro

Hello, dropping a small QoL update today. Here are the changes:

What changed

1 fix0 additions1 change0 removals
  • Maps
  • UI and audio
changedSame as before, but in the map. If you press a direction when Romino is not in a Tile, she'll remember and will attempt to move towards that direction right when she arrives at one. Entering a level also buffers for a couple of frames.
fixedAlso corrected a typo that somehow got into the last build. Oops.

  • Jump and Turn Piece actions now buffer the input for a couple of frames if the action cannot be perform. This means, if you press jump right before reaching the floor, the game will still perform the jump once Romino reaches it. Same with Turning a Piece right before Grabbing.

That's all for this update. There's not much to say about the Expansion. It's making slow progress, emphasis on slow. I would be really happy if I could publish it in 2026, and it may be possible, but can't really promise that. All I can say is: it's not cancelled, I still intend to finish it.
