Wicked Wonderland!

Welcome to Wicked Wonderland, a series of wild, twisted multiplayer courses themed around the spinning rides, perilous slides, and shifting tides of a seaside carnival. Your favorite midway games have been re-imagined as obstacles and interactive elements.

Demo Updates

Playable Q.T.

She’s got brains. She’s got brawn. And she’s skated right into your hearts. It’s Q.T.!

After six months of development and the incredible support of our Kickstarter backers, Rascal’s beloved sister and partner in crime is now playable in the Rollin’ Rascal demo! Our team has worked tirelessly to bring her to life – she comes with over 100 unique animations, her own emotes, and a stylish wardrobe to boot.

We hope you’ll enjoy skating with her when the full game releases too.

Emotes

Whether you’re looking to show off or cheer on a friend, Rascal and Q.T. are now equipped with emote animations that will let you really express yourself. Press the “right face button” on your controller, or the f-key on your keyboard, to open the emotes menu. Plus, Rascal and Q.T.’s emote sets are unique. Additional Outfits

The full moon’s on the rise. Can you hear the dead man’s cries? Something evil lurks in the night… Beware beware, for it takes flight. Just in time for Hallows' Eve, Vampire Rascal and Witch Q.T. arrive to make things spooky. These frightfully delightful outfits will be coming to the Rollin’ Rascal free demo today!

O-ho, are there more tricks in store this Halloween…?

Nope, just treats! Here are some new outfits for Q.T., so you can become the Cozy-core Girlie, Pop-Star, Schoolgirl, and Business Cutie you’ve always wanted to be.

Mechlings

We’ve overhauled our Mechlings to give them more details, hidden secrets, and new paint, which will help differentiate the various types you’ll encounter in the full game. These spherical boys are anything but basic. Each one has personality, and in some cases, even a flair for style. They’re loyal and loveable and will do anything Elegance asks… as long as they’re on the clock.

PledgeBox Update

Exciting news! We’ve reached our first Stretch Goal in PledgeBox! Outfit Pack 4 is now unlocked and is currently in development. [Footage of Outfit Pack 4 being unlocked]

But that’s not all. We’ve also reached the second Stretch Goal: a Playstation 5 port of Rollin’ Rascal. With your help, we are now bringing our wonderful game to even more players.

Given the huge success of our Kickstarter and PledgeBox campaigns, we have added additional Stretch Goals to our list.

After we achieve the “Secret Boss” and “Boss Rush” goals, we’re adding “Hairstyles”! This tier unlocks 4 new ‘dos for both Rascal and QT, to give you even more customization and personal flair.

But we don't just want to add hairstyles. We'd also like to add a more robust clothing customization system to the game. Reaching this goal would add an avalanche of new apparel, which players could mix and match to build that perfect fit. These new garments would include hats, tops, legwear, gloves, and shoes. Even the parts of existing outfits could be combined to your heart’s content!

Lastly, we wanted to give a round of applause and huge thank you to our current supporters. Your contributions have helped us make this game even bigger and better, and we can’t wait to share it with you. If you haven’t backed our project yet, there’s still time! Full Game Development Progress

Victory Poses

You’ve beaten out the competition and left your enemies in the dust. That’s cause for celebration, isn’t it? And nothing says #1 like a good breakdance. That’s right, we’re adding victory poses to the full release of Rollin’ Rascal! The top finishers of each race will display the animation of their choice.

Datamine Desert Progress

Datamine Desert is heating up! The first level of this area, Wild Waste, has been prototyped and is available to Beta Testers right now! Traverse an arid canyon, through mine shafts and factories, ultimately encountering the Buzzkill, Elegance’s robotic surveillance vulture. The Buzzkill will feature heavily in the second level of this area, Buzzkill Bluffs. Like the Mechlings, this enemy will be able to be overridden, giving Rascal the ability to fly. Dive bomb or barrel roll to take down enemies, gain some speed, or soar with style when the full game releases.

We’ll be sharing more glimpses of Datamine Desert in future Rundowns, so stay tuned!

Slushie Summit Progress

Welcome to Slushie Summit, home to Mr. Bark’s ski resort, the coolest mountain retreat in Elysia!

However, his business has been put on ice, due to a perpetually raging electro-storm. But Mr. Bark hasn’t given up hope. He believes in an old snow-shredder’s tale, of a hero who will quell the blizzard. When that day comes, the ultimate, gnarliest slope will be revealed. The journey to the peak is perilous, fraught with frosty fiends. But it will also be super fun! Look forward to more info about Slushie Summit in Rundowns to come.

One Last Thing

New to Multiplayer today, we’ve got Items! Collect a Power Prism and activate it to receive a game changing ability. Crush enemies, boost your speed, skip ahead, or lay traps. These new items are designed to even the playing field, enabling players in the back to gain back some ground or give frontrunners a run for their money. They’re sure to bring some mayhem to your multiplayer races!

And guess what: Power Prisms will be available in the free demo today! So what are you waiting for Rascals?

Until next time, keep on Rollin’!
