The first month
The alpha was released for testing in the beginning of January 2021. Our goal in this playtest is to tune the balance and iron out bugs. So far that's been going great!
We opted for doing small hotfixes as we saw them and as they were reported. The first month thus saw 7 updates, ending in a major update to the back-end logic that controls our statistics reporting and save games.
In our end, the statistics server functions as a real "who is who" and some of the data from it will be made public as we go forward. So in the future you can show of your skill to your friends!
We are still looking for more testers, so please join us before the testing slots are filled.

Going forward
Our goal for the near term is to fine-tune the balance of the game. Currently the game is difficult, but is it hard enough? There might still be some bugs to fix, but they are getting few and far between.
We are eyeing at an artist to redo the whole visual image, but this will take time and to us is a goal in the medium term. As you can see, the game is currently running on placeholder imagery.

Redid the save logic and statistics logic - this forces us to abandon old saves as they won't work with the new savegame type.
Fixed a softlock bug with winning a match with a card drawing card. Thanks to Zarach for reporting.

Deck manager windows tuned slightly.
Fixed a bug where outer planes erroneously had a second necromancer.

Introduced "booster pack" in the shop.

Made card text a little bit larger and fixed the flicker that occurred on some resolutions.
