RoGlass changes
The Quality of Life Update is Here!
Thanks for supporting RoGlass and me as a developer! As a token of appreciation, I've been hard at work since the 1.0 launch to get some quality of life changes into the game as quickly as possible.
Gameplay Changes, Less RNG!
Players are now given 2 rerolls instead of 1 when unlocking them.
Players are now given 4 reroll locks instead of 2 when unlocking them.
Hitting the restart button now has a greatly increased chance to give tiles not shown in the supply. This should minimize spamming the restart button to receive tiles that you're looking for.
The power of "Big Combo" upgrades reducing the RNG when rerolling is now more effective for the first few upgrades (and relatively the same when fully upgraded).
There is now a option to automatically rotate through the game's soundtrack by clicking the music button at the bottom left.
Players can now pan the camera by click and dragging the right or middle mouse buttons.
Players can press "R" to restart a round without having to click the restart button.
Right clicking while holding a tile will now drop the tile back into the supply (unless you have the pointer upgrade that utilizes right click and are holding a pointer).
The tutorial now appears after doing a data reset.
Visual Changes
The tile supply is now greyed out when you run out of tiles, and colorful again if you gain the ability to place more tiles that round.
There are many more resolution options now available.
You can now shrink the restart button's widget by clicking the arrow icon next to it, freeing up more screen space.
The close button for various pop up menus is now red and stands out more.
The music button icon looks much more musical and has 3 different visual states for playing one song, rotating through all songs, and being muted.
Changed the wording of the "Share the Warmth" achievement to better represent its objective.
The exit game button is now larger and closer to the rest of the settings, making it easier to find.
Changed "Ultra" to "Best" in the visual quality settings so there is less confusion on what option is the best.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue that allowed players to hold onto a tile while restarting.
Fixed an issue that awarded players extra points to total score when restarting (this was fixed in the demo but snuck back into the full version).
Fixed an issue where starting resolution would show up as 0x0 (I'm not sure if this is fixed since I couldn't reproduce it myself, but I believe I found the cause).
Language selection should now carry over when doing a full data reset.
Fixed an issue where fully resetting data twice in a row would reset audio volume to default.
Future Content Update?
As a completionist myself, I'm so happy to hear that many of you have 100%d the game and are looking for more. I've got some ideas on what new content to add to RoGlass, so look forward to a future update. My goal is to add new content onto the end of the game after completing it. What I have in mind is going to take quite a bit of time and experimentation, so please be patient while I figure things out. Thanks again for supporting me and my game, you all are awesome!
