I have just pushed a small update to the Rock Bottom demo with some quality of life improvements based on your feedback.
UI Improvements: Level select buttons now use a click to select system which means no more frustrations to select a level. To ensure you can still see which resources are in which levels, I have added a hover tooltip that displays these.
SFX Adjustments: Dialogue blip sounds have been rebalanced and pitch shifted to a more muted tone.
Jetpack Rework: The jetpack now uses its own fuel gauge instead of draining stamina. A small orange ring appears near your character showing fuel remaining.
Other Fixes: New area unlock popups now wait 3 seconds before they can be dismissed, and the demo welcome message has been updated with a note about the accelerated progression, as well as other small quality of life changes.
I have gotten a lot of suggestions to change the balance of the game... although I am considering it, I will keep the DEMO balance as is for now, until I am able to figure out impactful ways to restructure the flow of the game.
