A fan art contest set on the planet Yob, home of Robots at Midnight

The machine uprising has begun on Yob — a brutal, post-collapse planet where humanity’s last survivors fight for control against rogue AI and cybernetic war machines.

Your mission: Create fan art that brings the world of Robots at Midnight to life. You can draw one of the characters from the game or design your own robot, scavenger, or survivor that feels like it belongs on the planet Yob.

Your art can be hand-drawn, digital, or animated (gif) — whatever style you choose, make it look like it fits in the retro-futuristic world of Robots at Midnight.

Submission Details:

All entries must be submitted via the Steam Community Artwork tab for Robots at Midnight. Here’s how to enter:

1. Create your art – Submit fan art of a character from Robots at Midnight or design your own original robot, scavenger, or tech-infused survivor that fits within the retro-futuristic world of Yob. All visual formats are welcome:

   • Hand-drawn

   • Digital illustration

   • Animation (gif)

2. Upload your piece to Steam by July 20, 2025:

   • Visit the Robots at Midnight Steam page

   • Go to the Community Hub > Artwork tab

   • Click Upload Artwork

3. Title your post: Rise of the Machines - {Your Character’s Name}

4. Make sure your artwork is set to public so the community and dev team can view and vote!

Submission Rules

1. Stick to the Theme – Your art must be inspired by Robots at Midnight. You can draw a game character or create your own robot, scavenger, or survivor that fits the world of Yob.

2. Keep it in Style – Your art should look like it belongs in the Robots at Midnight universe (retro-futuristic, gritty, and sci-fi).

3. Original Art Only – All artwork must be created by you. No tracing, copying, or using AI tools.

4. Formats Allowed – Must be JPG, PNG, or GIF. Hand-drawn, digital art, and animated GIFs are welcome!

5. Be Kind and Clean – Your submission should be appropriate for all ages. No violence, gore, or inappropriate content.

6. Sign Your Art – Add your name or username in the corner of your artwork. No big logos or watermarks, please!

7. Submit on Steam – Upload your art to the Robots at Midnight Steam Community Artwork tab. Title it like this: Rise of the Machines - {Your Character’s Name}

8. Make it Public – Set your submission to Public so the dev team and the community can see and vote on it!

9. Submit on Time – The deadline is July 20, 2025. Don’t miss it!
