Repeated intro

Hello, fellow detourists!

Robot Detour, our first Steam release, our small puzzle magnum opus, turns 1 year old today! 🎉

It's on -50% sale for a week (just 3 bucks) - for those of you who still haven't played the game (or who wants to gift it to all their friends)

...how many people have played the game, by the way?

and what happened in the last year?

Good questions :)

  • We've sold 2000 copies!

  • 161 reviews on Steam, 100% positive

  • Appeared on EDGE Magazine

  • Were nominated for "Best approachable puzzle game of 2024" at Thinky Awards

  • Made friends with several cool people whom we now work together on our next games

  • Loved the process so much we're now sticking with a gamedev career. Will see how it goes!

Main thing that happened this year was start of development of Burn With Me; it's the main reason we didn't have any updates or news since winter (sorry!)

And although we're still not planning any big updates to Robot Detour (it's perfect already), we do have a couple of news to share.

  1. We're working on console ports of Robot Detour, in collaboration with Mameshiba Games! Switch, Xbox, PlayStation - all hopefully coming first half of 2026.

  2. We're also preparing small DLC with game's OST! Including remastered music from jam version of the game, and a couple of secret tracks from unreleased levels 👀

Thanks everyone for sticking with us - and see you all around!

Ivan and Eva.
