I'm Still Alive! The RoadHouse Is Still Being Built!
Sorry for the lack of updates recently! I'm happy to report that I'm still alive and still working hard on the game.
Production has slowed a bit as I happily started a new FT job. But the game is getting closer and closer and finally closer to demo and release, and really hoping to enter the Feb Next Fest.
The game will be ready when it's awesome and ready. So, I'm sort of done with timelines! But holy cow, I swear the game must be at least 92% done by now, I've just had to add more features than I ever figured for the betterment of gamers everywhere, and the world.
Schnee-Papa
In the reality of the RoadHouse world, deep in its lore for super complicated reasons, that are only smartly implied in my game's gameworld, Santa exists as Schnee-Papa, and he's a drunk, and he wants to break into your RoadHouse and steal all your booze. So if you see him, whack him with a broom to shoo Schnee-Papa away.
Yes, this actually a mechanic in the game! And yes, Schnee-Papa is German and speaks German, for reasons.
