addedHey Road to your City supporters, as you might have noticed there was a time without game updates lately. There are three reasons why there haven't been more updates for the game and I would like to make it transparent to you in this Steam announcement. Reason 1: As you might know I've been working on the game for such a long time and the fact Road to your City was my first game also included that there have been so much new experience like putting the game on Steam, pushing the game in Early Access, doing some marketing, creating Youtube videos and stuff like that. I wanted to fix the main issues on the game and that´s what I did. But then I needed some time to clear my mind and to start playing games on my own since I haven't had any time during the development on Road to your City. Reason 2: I hardly get any feedback any more - neither bugs nor feature requests. That´s where reason three connects. Reason 3: The game was a success for me, since most of the time I had a full-time job and I was never dependent on earning a specific amount of money to proceed the development and so on. Of course I thought about working on the game full-time but I totally knew that Road to your City is more a niche game and it will be quite impossible that it might become the next Stardew Valley ;) But actually I did not care since I wanted to make that kind of game. But everything has an end and Road to your City is almost done because it´s fully playable. The sales were good but the progress shows me that there is not a huge interest in the game any more. That´s totally fine and I don't claim that, but I'm sure you understand that it doesn't make sense to work on a game no one is interested in any more. I really appreciate all kind of support from the community I got over the years - that was really cool :) But here is the thing: since I would love to add more features to the game I offer you to send me feature requests which will not fully break the game or might take months to make and I will see if I'm able to add them to the game. After that Road to your City will finally come out as full release since the game itself - as already mentioned - is fully playable and bug free . So let me know in the comments, on my Discord server or write me a message at contact@yheekygames.com . Really looking forward to your messages! Cheers, Christian
