A big moment for us has arrived - we’re launching our first playtest. We’ve been developing the game for three years and have been playing it ourselves every single day. But now it’s time to let you play :)
This is still a very, very early version of the game. We’re far from a demo or an open playtest. There’s still a lot of work ahead. But it’s important for us to give the game to you now and hear your first thoughts and impressions.
Right now the game has no tutorial, and you can’t just press the Play button to jump right in. Plus there are lots of bugs. So we’re inviting those who are ready to push through all that and see what we’ve been building.
To play the game, you need to request access to the playtest. Once your request is approved, the game will appear in your Steam library. Then launch the game and either create a server or join an existing one. Servers have different settings - feel free to try various options.
The goal of the game - run through the entire level and make it out in time. You run together with other inmates. Standing in your way are player-controlled ghosts who can spawn monsters and possess them. If an inmate dies several times, they also become a ghost - and in that role, they try to eliminate the remaining inmates.
If you get access to the playtest, you can invite your friends. Definitely bring them - the game is much more fun together. Up to 40 players can join a match, but even 5-7 people is already fun. More than 10 - super cool.
We’re very excited to begin this early testing phase. We’ll be waiting for your feedback, thoughts, and impressions. Sorry for all the bugs and rough edges - the game has a lot of systems, and it’s quite unique and unusual. It’s not an easy one to make. But we’re confident we can create one of the most vivid and memorable games out there.
