Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition changes
Ready your horses and saddle up, because Update 1.40: Roam Together has officially arrived! This marks our final update for 2025, and it’s a big one. If you’ve been keeping up with our announcements over the past few weeks, you’ll know there’s plenty to dive into. We’ve put a lot of love into this update, and we’re excited to finally share it with you in full. There’s plenty to explore, so let’s jump right in and see what’s new.
Multiplayer Free Roam is here!
For the very first time, you can explore the world of Rival Stars Horse Racing with up to eight friends in Free Roam Multiplayer!
Gallop together across the open fields of the Ranch, wander through the lush, rolling landscapes of Switzerland, tackle the rugged trails of Canyon Falls, or race across the golden sands of Golden Dunes. Every corner of the world is yours to discover, and there’s so much to see and do.
Express yourself in-game using fun emotes while you ride, master jumps alongside your friends, uncover every hidden nook and cranny of the map, or snap the perfect shot using the camera feature. Free Roam is all about enjoying the journey together.
Getting started is easy! Once you reach Prestige 3, the multiplayer game mode will unlock. Head to the Race and Ride menu and select the multiplayer game mode, then click on Free Roam. From there, you can create a private room and share the code with your friends, or hop into a public lobby to meet other players exploring the world.
Whether you’re racing, roaming, or just enjoying the scenery, Free Roam Multiplayer brings a whole new level of adventure to Rival Stars Horse Racing.

Show jumping
Show Jumping is finally stepping out of Free Roam and into its very own Career mode! It’s your chance to level up your skills, explore new arenas, and work your way through four unique Leagues, each with its own vibe and challenges.
You’ll kick things off at Club, the first location in the League. Think of it as your warm-up arena – the place where you get comfy with the controls and learn the ropes before moving on to the National League, Sponsored League, and eventually the ultimate stage: the Grand Prix.
Each location has six courses, giving you a total of 24 to take on. Every course brings something new to learn, with fresh layouts, obstacles, and moments to nail that perfect jump.
Progression in Career mode is all about earning Reputation Points. As you complete courses, you’ll unlock new challenges, bigger arenas, and fresh locations to explore. Every League feels like a new step up and a new world to ride in.
Whether you’re chasing clean rounds, going for a PB, or just enjoying each new arena, Show Jumping Career adds a fun new way to ride in Rival Stars Horse Racing.
French Chaser!
Say hello to the newest breed in Rival Stars Horse Racing: the French Chaser, also known as the Autre Que Pur-Sang (AQPS)! First established in 2005, this breed combines the agility of the Thoroughbred with the strength of the Selle Français, making them versatile athletes ready to take on a variety of challenges.
French Chasers are celebrated for their adaptability, excelling across multiple events far beyond what they were originally bred for, so whether you’re sprinting across open fields or mastering tough jumps, these horses have the skill to shine.
In-game, French Chasers come with a breed bonus to give you an edge:
+5 Sprint Energy
+2 Jump
New Coats and Face Markings
As per any Rival Stars update that introduces a new breed, we have some fancy new patterns to go along with it. Make sure you check out the coats below in the Horse Creator Menu
