Rival Megagun changes
The Rival Megagun c1.1.1 patch has just been pushed live for all users, and brings with it a whole host of changes and improvements, listed in great detail below.

Gameplay:
Extended chain duration in Easy and Normal modes - Equipped gear icons now displayed in battle - Reduced HP of large enemies - Chain Item - When active, special attacks do not consume attack power - Chain Item - When active, bullets cause splash damage to nearby enemies - Chain Item - Effect duration increased
Online battles:
You can now practice vs. CPU while waiting for a match - You can now choose an avatar to display in online battles - Unlock new avatars by playing online battles
Battle Settings:
Reset attack power each round: Off/On - Reset bomb count each round: Off/On - Drone Fleet Size: Normal/Fewer Drones/More Drones/Too Many Drones - Mega Gunship Mode: Pilot/Deploy (control the mega gunship directly or let the CPU control it while you keep playing) - Mega Gunship Bonus: Off/Chain/Bomb/Repair (reward for destroying mega gunship)
Characters:
Gen - Decreased damage output
Buddy 2.0 - Increased damage output - Buddy 2.0 - Reduced V-missile number of attacks - Buddy 2.0 Mega - Reduced attack cooldowns
Ruby Mega - Removed staggered bullets in basic shot - Ruby Mega - Increased bullet amount for orb attack - Ruby Mega - Decreased cooldown for lightning attack
Smith - Fixed bug where Cluster Bomb would not fire - Smith Mega - Increased number of bullets for ring shot - Smith Mega - Reduced cooldown for basic shot
Nano Mega - Increased control of ring shot
Dr. Magic - Slight decrease in damage output - Dr. Magic - Reduced range and pull strength of Vortex Bomb weapon - Dr. Magic Mega - Fixed bug where black hole attack could damage the player after mega gunship was destroyed
Host - Increase damage output - Host - Reduced speed and quantity of Swarm weapon - Host - Squidlet no longer moves in a circle - Host Mega - Decrease cooldown of attack C

Autobomb - No longer consumes bomb item - Autobomb - Limited to once per round - Exploding Shot - Damage is no longer affected by gear stats - Exploding Shot - Fixed bug where shots appeared from off-screen - Exploding Shot - Fixed bug where shots fired during bomb effect - Magnet - Increased item pull strength - Magnet - Items now stick to a small radius surrounding player ship - Magnet - Effect is now only active while shooting - Option - Increased number of bullets fired - Compact Blasters - increase range - Compact Blasters - Bullets now pierce through enemies - Compact Blasters - Reduced damage bonus
