What a month that was! 😮

What a month! We’re safely back home from Gamescom and have finally beat the Gamescom bug (🤧), so it’s about time we slide in here to say another big THANK YOU for the support and help with Ritual of Raven these past few weeks, and also to give you a little update on where this game and our studio is heading next! ✨

🎊 August was really something!

August 7th. The day that will go down in the history of cozy games. And Ritual of Raven was part of it! 🔮

For our release Malin (Social Media & Community Management) even flew all the way from Germany to Scotland to join Kathrin & Kasimir (Programming) for a little release party! And then once it was time for the game to actually go live, Sophie (Game Art) and Zoë (Game Design) joined via Discord call and our amazing soundtrack artist Marie also stopped by. 🥂 (More on the soundtrack later! 🤫)

We also went to Glasgow Indie Games Fest around the same time and only two weeks later you could find us walking around Gamescom. Lots of amazing conversations with people who are as enthusiastic about games as we are, we’re definitely looking forward to the next convention! 🥰

(This was actually the first time the 5 of us got together “IRL”!)

Working on a project for such a long time and only sharing small snippets here and there can sometimes make you feel almost isolated and make you really lose sight of the bigger picture - but seeing how you guys play this game and decorate the world has never once failed to put a huge smile on our faces! 🔄Updates

And what about updates for Ritual of Raven itself? 👀

We definitely have loved to hear all your feedback and ideas and have been diligently taking note of them to chat about which changes would be at all feasible to build into the game! We’re equally keeping track of the bugs that are still being reported and going forward will definitely make sure to fix bugs and add some more improvements.

But also our fingers are really itching to bring the next vision to life (and to your screens)! 🎮 We started working on a really cool concept that we’re sure you’ll be excited about once we share more!

So while we won’t just abandon the magical world of Nevar, we are already thinking of the next steps for our small studio. And not to forget we do have another little game that every once in a while demands our attention (🐸). So wherever it is we go next, we hope you’ll be on board for our next shenanigans! 🔮

Now before we let you go, we wanted to share one last thing!
