Repeated intro
Hey everyone. Quick check-in to let you know we are alive, well, and working on Rite of Osiris every day.

Rite of Osiris changes
Where we are at right now
We finished the first full 3D blockout pass of the game’s environment. The map is playable in rough form now, which lets us iterate fast on layout, pacing, and scares.
We also built the core physics interaction system to match the Amnesia-style feel:
Physics doors
Picking up objects and rotating them while holding them
Dragging heavy objects across the floor
Throwing objects
On top of that, the inventory is implemented with our bespoke UI design, and the underlying item and crafting systems are working end-to-end. This gives us a solid foundation for progression as we add more items and mechanics.
What we are doing next
We are moving into the next environment pass:
Higher-detail modeling on the map
Texture creation and early material work
Continuing to build out core gameplay mechanics and tying them into real gameplay loops
